It's really important to say right from the outset that getting involved in Scouting doesn't have to mean a weekly uniformed commitment.

We do need your support to help grow Scouting in Chelmsford. Adults in Scouting provide the skills, resources, support and encouragement to enable young people to take part in a balanced programme. All of the adults involved with Scouting in Chelmsford are volunteers and we've all learnt our roles on the job.

We have 25 Groups, 10 Explorer Scout Units and a supporting District Team that would welcome your help in any way...

Be it as a new Section Leader or a Group Treasurer or simply an additional set of hands when required. It doesn't matter if this is on a weekly, bi-weekly, once a month role or as required commitment ... it's your choice!
