Networks are involved in activities as wide ranging as kayaking, rock climbing, water skiing, international projects in places as inspiring as Chile, Libya and Italy, work with young people and help within the local community... the list of activities, projects and events is almost endless. You can also take part in the Duke of Edinburgh as well as Scout Awards. By joining Scout Network a whole world of opportunity opens up to you. What you and your Network do is up to you.
If you are aged between 18-25 then you can be a Network member. Some Network members will also be Leaders, Assistants or part of their local Scout Fellowship. Others will never have been involved in Scouting before - now is the time to start. Once you become a Network member, you can take part in pretty much any activity or event arranged by the 237 Networks there are across the UK.
Network is the natural progression after Explorer Scouts, for people aged between 18 and 25. Cobra Network meet twice a month, once at 1st Chelmsford HQ the 1st Tuesday of every month and then elsewhere on the 3rd week of the month. So if you're over seventeen and a half, why not come along and find out what all the fuss is about? With loads of fun packed activities organised for the spring term you could join our Facebook Group to find out more or come along to a meeting to meet the friendly faces of Cobra. Remember though, you don't need to worry about moving away to university because when you join one network you are automatically a member of all the Networks in the UK.
