Are you looking for a new challenge? Could you be our new Property and Equipment Sub-Team Leader?

This role is part of our District Support team and is essential to looking after the places and things that we need to keep delivering Scouting to Chelmsford’s young people.

In this role, you’ll be free to build a team to help you achieve the tasks assigned to the team. These tasks include:

  • Managing the District Store
  • Maintaining an up-to-date, centralised equipment database
  • Ensuring equipment is in a good, usable state and easily available for camps and activities
  • Assisting in the picking and preparation of equipment before a camp or activity
  • Checking all equipment is returned after use and is clean and in good working order
  • Arranging for the repair or replacement of equipment and other resources
  • Selecting and ordering new equipment and resources
  • Keeping our various storage areas tidy and safe
