What happens next?
If there’s space for your child in the unit and they’re of a suitable age, you’ll be contacted to arrange a start date for them. If there’s no spaces, the unit will hold on to your details until a space becomes available.

Someone will be in touch as soon as a space becomes available for you. Unfortunately, this may take some time as Scouting is very popular in Chelmsford! There’s no need to keep in touch, the minute a space is available, we’ll let you know! If you no longer need the space, please let us know using the details above.
Volunteer with us
Calling all tea makers, tidy-uppers, activity planners, minibus drivers, camp cooks, first aiders, future leaders or any one else for that matter!
We’re always on the look out for more volunteers for as little or as much time as you can spare to enable more young people to gain Skills for life.
