Do you know someone in the District who deserves to be recognised for their outstanding service to Scouting, a special act of heroism and bravery, courage, endurance or devotion to duty under suffering? Well we want to know about them!
The Scouts have a number of prestigious awards for members and as a voluntary organisation, it’s an important way of saying, “thank you”. Chelmsford Scouts have presented an astonishing number of people with Awards over the years, but we know there are more people in the District who continue to modestly do great things for young people and Scouting locally who may be overlooked. We need your help to find them!
Past recepients
The Scouts publish a “roll of honour” each year, listing every volunteer who has received an award over the previous 12 months.
Nominate someone
During 2024, this process will move into the national Scouts website. In the meantime, you can nominate someone for an award using the form below. All nominations will remain confidential and anonymous but a member of the panel may need to get in touch with you for additional information to help form a citation. Please make sure you’ve read the requirements for each award, and guidance for writing a nomination.
